Sammy Anim Addo, a former Executive Council Member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has praised the work rate of Ghana U-17 head coach, Laryea Kingston.
According to him, the former Black Stars winger is nurturing emerging talents for the future which will put Ghana on the highest stage of the football world.
The Black Starlets secured a place in the semi final of the WAFU B U-17 Nations Cup tournament, having defeated Cote d'Ivoire and going ahead to beat Benin 2-0 on Tuesday to top Group A.
Having watched both matches, Anim Addo thinks the coaching structure and goal-oriented approach the team is using will help the team as Laryea Kingston has instilled a mindset in his lads to achieve specific goals.
"He (Laryea Kingston) is really building these boys for the future and these boys would be able to fit in any team in the world if they continue with what they are doing because the systems, the game plan, game management and the mental toughness as well as the confidence on the pitch is there," he told Joy Sports.
"I can see a great future in these boys. I wouldn't be surprised and some of us want us to break that jinx where a boy can leave here straight and go to a team in Europe and get a chance.
"These boys can fit into any system and at the same time, they will grow to become great assets to the nation, from here to U20, to U23 and the Black Stars so I am happy to see what he's doing."
The Black Starlets await their opponents in the last four after the two Group B games were postponed following heavy downpour on Wednesday, May 22.
