The former Al Ahly and Mamelodi Sundowns coach is unshakeable; he has limited resources in his bid to save the team from going down.
On Sunday night, Mosimane led his Abha Club to record a 2-1 win over Al-Fateh as they moved to 15th on the log with 25 points, one above the danger zone.
In the win against Al-Fateh, Abha struggled for possession, and Mosimane was asked why he opted for that defensive approach.
"I do not have Sadio Mane or Cristiano Ronaldo, I can only work with the elements I have," the 59-year-old told the media.
"I am trying with all my might to work hard, but I don’t have more players who have special qualities.
"We succeeded in proving our character after our success in returning from a harsh loss by eight goals in the last match to a distinguished victory [on Sunday]."
Since Mosimane took over as Abha's coach, he has managed to help them bag 11 points from the eight games they have played.
The tactician and his team have seven games remaining to save their status in Saudi's top-flight league.
