ACF Fiorentina coach Paulo Sousa has called Ghanaian international Amidu Salifu back into the first team squad and will train today (Tuesday) with the senior rank squad at their training sports centre,Kickgh can confirm.
The Ghanaian youngster together with his two other youth team-mates, Luzayadio Andy Bangul and Simone Minelli will be part of the first team squad that will resume training today at their training facility grounds.
The 23-year-old has been on loan stints with many clubs in the serie B for the past four seasons.
In an exclusive interview with Kickgh.com this month during his holidays in Ghana, Salifu revealed that he has extented a two-year contract with Fiorentina and would want to stay in Florence to enjoy top-flight league for the upcoming season.
And now, coach Paulo Sousa has reposed his confidence in him together with his two other youth team-mates, and would be assessing them in his first team squad in training ahead of the new season.
