English-born Ghanaian attacker Charles Sagoe Jr has completed a loan move to Swedish top-flight side Kalmar FF from Arsenal, with the deal set to run until January 2027.
The switch marks another important step in the young forward’s development, as he embarks on his third temporary spell away from the North London club. Sagoe Jr previously gained experience in English football during loan stints with Swansea City and Shrewsbury Town.
Sagoe Jr made his senior competitive debut for Arsenal in 2023 when he featured against Brentford in the Carabao Cup, a milestone moment in his progression through the club’s ranks.
The talented forward initially joined Arsenal from Fulham at a young age and signed scholarship terms in 2020, continuing to rise steadily through the academy system.
At youth level, he has been a key figure for the Gunners, making more than 60 appearances for the U21 side and establishing himself as one of the standout performers this season.
His move to Kalmar FF is expected to provide regular first-team football and further opportunities to sharpen his attacking qualities as he continues his journey toward becoming a senior regular.
