Leicester City have finally had their second offer of £8million accepted by Crystal Palace for the service of Ghanaian striker Jordan Ayew in the ongoing summer transfer window.
The 32-year-old has been a key member of Crystal Palace team since joining the club in 2018 and netted four goals and provided eight assists in 37 appearances for Palace last season in all competitions.
Since joining the club, the versatile attacker has amassed a total of 23 goals and 22 assists in 211 appearances for the Eagles.
With a year left in his contract, Leicester City manager Steeve Cooper, who worked with Jordan at Swansea City, is seeking a reunion as he believes getting the service of the Ghanaian will be really malleable to his side heading into the new campaign.
The Foxes initially sent an offer of £4 million for the service of the Black Stars forward but was subsequently rejected.
However, their second offer of £8 million has now been accepted and Jordan Ayew is currently undergoing his medicals to become a new Leicester City player on a two-year deal with an option to extend, reports JPercy of the Telegraph.
Jordan Ayew was a second half substitute in the Eagles' 2-1 defeat to Brentford having come on to replace Japanese international Daichi Kamada on the 70th minute.
