North Macedonian outfit FK Shkupi have announced the loan signing of Issah Kuka from Hearts of Oak until the end of the 2023/24 season's campaign.
Kuka left the shores of Ghana last week to complete his sensational switch to the Blue and White lads, after terms had been agreed between the two clubs.
The club's official statement reads “As of today, our team has been strengthened by another footballer, it is about the attacker from Ghana, Issah Kuka, who comes to Skopje on loan for a year, with the possibility of becoming a blue-and-white footballer at the end of the season”
Kuka has been farmed out to the Cair Stadium outfit from Hearts of Oak after a scintillating performance in the Ghana Premier League last season during his loan spell at Real Tamale United.
He managed to score 14 goals and provided two assists in all competitions for Real Tamale United during the loan stint.
Kuka expressed his delight after completing the loan switch to FK Shkupi during his unveiling earlier today.
"Undoubtedly, I am very pleased that I managed to be part of a great team. I have seen that throughout the seasons Skopje is in the highest positions in the table and is a participant in the qualification competitions of the Champions League, the European League and the Conference League,” Kuka told the club's official website
“So I'm here to play well, help the club and score goals and I'm very happy to have joined the club. I'm waiting for the first minutes to make my debut with the team and I'm looking forward to scoring as this is my job, to help the club to be as high as possible in the rankings.
“I want to emphasize that I have been very well received by my teammates, everyone was very close to me and talked to me the whole time, telling me everything, as it happens that sometimes I don't understand a moment, also by the staff and the leadership of I have received a wonderful welcome at the club and I will try to return this to you with a good game and scored goals.”
“Of course, I'm looking forward to appearing in front of our fans, who I've been told are in large numbers, so I want to say that I'll try to make them happy with the game I'm going to show,"
