The season-long loan deal of the talented teenage sensation of Ghanaian descent with the Austrian top-flight outfit has collapsed due to UEFA regulations

Austrian Bundesliga side SCR Altach have confirmed that the loan deal of German-born Ghanaian teen Gibson Nana Adu has fell through after failing to secure a work permit for his services from the governing body of European football.

The 17-year-old budding star, owned by German heavyweights Bayern Munich, completed a season-long loan move to the Austrian outfit on transfer deadline day. However, the deal has now been called off given his age that renders him as an unqualified player to make the move per the UEFA regulations.

Altach manager Fabio Ingolitsch said of the collapsed loan deal of the Ghanaian teenage sensation to Vorarlberger Nachrichten: ''Gibson said goodbye to us with tears in his eyes. Even though he was only with us for ten days, it was a bitter loss for such a young player.''

Assistant managing director Manuel Willam added: ''We tried it together with Bayern Munich, but because we're a Category 4 club at the international level, we can't sign players under 18. It's a shame, but we'll try again next year.''

Born and raised to Ghanaian parents in Germany, he could be a sure bet for Ghana at the international level given his magnificent talent as a Bayern Munich future prospect.
