Former West Ham United defender and Sky Sports pundit Tony Gale has criticized Ghanaian forward Mohammed Kudus for his poor body language during West Ham's 2-2 draw with Fulham on Saturday.
Although Kudus had a relatively decent performance in the first half, he failed to impress many supporters and his impact waned noticeably after the break. Gale observed that Kudus appeared increasingly frustrated while playing on the left wing, which affected his overall contribution.
“He’s not been involved and hasn’t seen the ball as much as he’d have liked,” Gale commented during his color commentary. “He looks like he’s sulking because people aren’t passing to him. It’s bad body language, and he’s lost interest in tracking back and helping out defensively.”
This criticism comes after Gale had previously suggested that Kudus could be worth over £100 million. Despite the high praise, the 24-year-old's recent performances have been underwhelming, with Kudus failing to score or assist in four Premier League matches this season.
