The 19-year-old talented teenager has shed lights on his lack of game time with his side in this current Danish top-flight campaign so far this term
Danish-born Ghana-prospect Noah Nartey has revealed that he has had ''some good talks'' with his manager Jesper Sørensen over his lack of playing time with Brondby IF in the ongoing Danish Superligaen football season.
The promising teenager had over the past two months witnessed less game actions and has admitted that such circumstances are really a challenging moment for him as a youngster.
With a growing concern over his playing minutes, the Ghana-prospect midfielder is still looking positive given his showdown talks with his manager at the Brøndby Stadium.
'' I think it has been challenging in some ways, but I have also gained some learning that I can take with me, and that makes me stronger. I feel it has been good enough,'' the 19-year-old told Tipsbladet
He continued by touching on his lack of game time so far this term; '' Of course it was great to play a lot. Every footballer wants to play games, so it's great when you're successful, because then you're happy. But when it goes the other way, it's about being strong. I don't feel like I'm changing anything. For me, it's about coming to training every day and doing my best. There isn't much more I can do. And then it is up to the coach to choose who he wants to play with.''
Nartey said his showdown talks with the Danish gaffer had been positive even though he would prefer to keep his cards close to his chest; ''Yes, I have spoken to him a lot, and we have had some good talks. I'll probably just keep the content between me and him, but why I don't start, that's the coach's choice, and I respect that. Of course, I'm just doing my best for him to choose me.''
Given his Ghanaian heritage, he remains eligible to represent Ghana at the international level despite playing for the Denmark U17, U18 & U19 national youth teams
