The 21-year-old wideman of Ghanaian heritage has completed his move to the Danish top-flight side in this ongoing winter transfer window

Danish-born Ghanaian youngster Osman Addo has joined Danish Superliga side Viborg FF on a four-and-a-half-year contract, the club have announced.

The promising youngster is joining the Viborg Stadium outfit from boyhood club B.93 in this January transfer market.

An official confirmation of the signing of the winger reads: ''Viborg FF has secured 21-year-old Osman Addo, who was bought free from B93, and has been given a contract in the cathedral city until the summer of 2030.''

The Ghana-prospect flanksman has told his club's official website: ''I am really happy and really looking forward to my next step in my career here. Viborg FF is a big club in Danish football, which I of course know a little about, and I have already got a really good impression of the whole thing. When I first heard about the interest, I already got a good feeling, and it feels like a good, familiar club, so I am sure that things will be really good here.

''I have long thought about the possibility of taking the step up to the Superliga, but it has also been important to me that it was the right thing for my development, and I certainly believe that Viborg FF is that. It is very attractive to come to a club that plays the way Viborg does and that they believe in young players here, so that has also been important for my choice.

''l m looking forward to putting on the VFF jersey and getting started here. It will be good to meet all the teammates and the staff and get to know everything. I've known Sami since we were 10 years old, so it probably also helps to quickly settle in here in the group.''

Sporting director Mads Agesen added: ''We know Osman very well and have followed him for a long time, so we are happy that we can now welcome him to Viborg FF. He is a skilled, dribbling winger with great flair and strong skills in his 1-on-1 game. He is relationally strong and also has fine finishing skills, so he brings many of the skills that fit well with our playing style. He is a player with great potential, and we are very much looking forward to having him in our environment, where we believe he can add even more layers to his game.''

Addo figured in 18 games by netting 5 and setting up another 5 for the Danish 1st Division club B.93 across all competitions in this current 2025-26 campaign.

Given his Ghanaian parentage, he still remains fit to switch international allegiance by representing Ghana on the international stage.
