Japanese first division side Shimizu S-Pulse have finally unveiled Ghanaian striker Abdul Aziz Yakubu- who joins from Portuguese topflight side Rio Ave FC. 

The 26-year-old enjoyed a fantastic three-year spell with the Green and Whites and really contributed immensely making him one of the supporter's favourite at the Estádio dos Arcos.

In the just ended season, Abdul Aziz Yakubu was instrumental after returning from Chinese side Wuhan Three Town and netted six goals and created two assists in sixteen matches in the second round to help them maintain their status in the topflight.

The Rioavistas announced on their official Facebook page right at the end of last season that, Abdul Aziz Yakubu is joining Shimizu S-Pulse with the details of the move still not revealed.

The former Charity Stars forward has finally been outdoored to the fans and will be joining his teammates very soon as he looks to mark his debut against JEF United this Saturday, July 6. 

Shimizu S-Pulse are currently occupying the third spot on the J.League 2 table with 46 points after 23 matches, just a point behind the the top spot.
