Olympique Lyonnais, a club competing in the French Ligue 1, has officially welcomed Ghanaian winger Ernest Nuamah to their ranks.
The 19-year-old sensation has made the move from Danish club FC Nordsjaelland, following a standout performance in the previous season with them.
While the duration of his contract remains undisclosed, the club shared their announcement via a video on their social media platform on Wednesday night.
Despite the appearance of a straightforward transfer, the intricacies reveal a more complex arrangement. This complexity stems from the selling club, FC Nordsjaelland, having already divulged the particulars of the transfer.
As confirmed by the Danish Superliga club, the young forward of the Black Stars, aged 19, has been immediately loaned to Olympique Lyonnais, despite his prior shift to Belgium's Jupiler Pro League side, RWD Molenbeek, through a permanent deal.
Notably, Eagle Football, the entity that owns Olympique Lyonnais, also holds ownership over RWD Molenbeek, a recently promoted team in the Belgium top-flight league.
Nordsjaelland publicly acknowledged this arrangement through a statement on their official website, conveying their farewell to the explosive and talented teenager.
