The Dutch top-tier club have severed ties with the 28-year-old widesman of Ghanaian heritage in this ongoing January transfer window

Dutch Eredivisie side PEC Zwolle have mutually parted ways with Ghanaian winger Braydon Manu, with his running contract set to come to a close this summer.

The former SV Darmstadt man has struggled for form owing to his injury-ridden campaign since linking up with the Blauwvingers during the summer of 2025.

However, those in charge of the MAC3PARK Stadion have said they are now going their separate ways with the Ghanaian flanksman after both parties agreed to terminate their contractual terms this winter.

A statement on the club's official website reads : ''PEC Zwolle and Braydon Manu have parted ways. The 28-year-old striker, who was under contract until next summer, has agreed to terminate his contract with the club. Manu had not been part of the first team for several months and was also struggling with an injury from which he recovered in Germany. Manu spent the second half of last season on loan at VfL Osnabrück. In Zwolle, the attacker barely got any playing time during that time, partly due to injuries.''

Sporting director Gerry Hamstra has offered explanation behind their decision for their contract annulment with the former VfL Osnabrück winger by adding to his communications network: ''The termination of the contract allows Braydon to look for a new club in peace. We wish Braydon every success for the future.''

Manu has so far made a zero appearance for PEC Zwolle in this current 2025/26 football season.

He is yet to make his international debut in a competitive match with the Ghana Senior Men's National Team, the Black Stars since gaining a national team call-up in 2021.
