English-born Ghanaian starlet Ryan McAidoo scored on his debut as Manchester City destroyed Exeter City 10-1 in the English FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
Despite the early scare through Oakes, City ran riot in the contest - defender Alleyne netted his first goal on only his second appearance, while Rodri added a tremendous, long-range strike to settle any nerves and put City in total command.
Exeter were panicking every time the ball came into their box and captain Doyle-Hayes saw the ball bounce off him and into the net, while Fitzwater inadvertently put through his own net from Reijnders' low cross.
Winger McAidoo, who was also given a debut on the opposite flank to Semenyo, also impressed with an eye-catching performance from the right-hand side.
The 17-year-old, signed from Chelsea's academy two years ago, gave Exeter left-back Oakes a torrid afternoon with his tricky and darting runs - he scored the goal his showing deserved with a confident finish into the bottom corner late on.

Lewis' double and Reijnders' beautiful finish made it 16 straight home victories for City in this competitions, a run dating back a decade.
George Birch smashed in superbly in front of his own fans in the 90th minute, but the visitors were thoroughly thrashed and totally outclassed and they have now been beaten in their past 11 FA Cup ties against top-flight sides.
Ryan McAidoo is the next big thing
During the 2024 summer transfer window, Manchester City snapped Ryan McAidoo at age 16 from their rivals Chelsea despite interest from several clubs including Bayern Munich, Arsenal and AC Milan.
In his debut season, McAidoo totalled 19 Under-18 Premier League North appearances, scoring 10 goals, to help City win the North title.

The quick, technical winger also impressed on the European stage. He had six goal involvements in nine UEFA Youth League appearances, helping City advance to the quarter-finals of the prestigious competition.
McAidoo has already played for England U16 and U17 on the international stage and is still eligible to represent Ghana in the future. He featured at the 2025 FIFA U17 World Cup for England.
