Kenyan-based midfielder, Enoch Morrison has recounted his time at Asante Kotoko where he stated it was very difficult working with coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and added he takes things too personal
The 25-year-old enjoyed two seasons with the Porcupine Warriors and was part of their league winning squad in the 2021/22 season
The versatile middleman is a victim of the mass player exodus that happened at Kotoko prior to the start of the ongoing season and currently plies his trade with Kenyan side Gor Mahia.
Speaking on Fakye TV, he has reiterated that, it was very tough working with the Educationist and further stated the coach doesn't take the opinion of others and tend to take everything personal.
“For me, he’s challenging, not because he puts pressure on players, but because he doesn't handle feedback well,” Morrison said. If we raise concerns or suggest an alternative, he often insists on his way. That made things tense.
“His communication with players was also an issue. When a player voiced an opinion or wasn’t getting minutes, he tended to take it personally. That created unnecessary friction.”
The mercurial midfielder's exceptional quality in the Kenyan topflight can't be overlooked having made 20 league appearances so far with 17 starts making him an automatic mainstay at the Moi International Stadium.
Enoch Morrison has popped up on the radar of several clubs on the continent recently with Tanzanian champions Young Africans SC leading the race at the moment
