The Black Stars have dropped one place in the latest FIFA/Coca-Cola world ranking, the second to be released this year.
Ghana, who were previously ranked 60th are now tied on 61st, with Brazil remaining top on the spot, extending their points lead over second-placed Belgium, with European champions Italy rising one place to sixth despite not qualifying for the World.
The four-time Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) winners are still the least ranked country heading into the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
On the African continent, Ghana are now ranked 11th, with African champions Senegal sitting top of the sequence, followed by Morocco, Tunisia, Nigeria and Algeria to complete Africa’s top five nations.
The latest ranking reflects with the 172 games which were played in total, with Ghana (5) playing the most games.
