Former vice president of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Fred Pappoe has emphasized effective operation and a strategic approach in ensuring the newly formed Black Stars Management Committee discharge their duties effectively.
He shared these sentiments in an interview with Sporty FM after the FA announced the formation of a new Management Committee for the Black Stars.
Pappoe outlined the need for the committee members to be extremely committed in dolling out high performance for the success of the senior national team.
"A well-functioning Management Committee is relevant for the running of our football or national teams but if the members are not committed, they will be there only in name.
"The duties of the Management Committee include organization, planning, preparation, camping, accommodation, counselling and support of the technical team."
The newly formed Black Stars Management Committee includes Dr. Randy Abbey as Chairman, responsible for leading engagement with the government and other stakeholders.
Samuel Aboabire, Chairman of the Greater Accra Regional Football Association and member of the GFA Executive Council, along with Moses Armah, President of Medeama Sporting Club, will oversee operations and matchday activities, ensuring smooth management of sponsor, partner, and collaborator relations. Richard Nsenkyire, President of FC Samartex 1996, will handle special duties within the committee.
