Carlos Queiroz and his technical team have completed an intense month of scouting and performance analysis as preparations continue for the FIFA World Cup.
Between April 11 and May 11, the Black Stars technical staff carried out extensive work focused on improving the team ahead of the tournament in June.
The project is part of efforts to build a stronger and more detailed approach within the Black Stars setup, using scouting, tactical analysis, fitness checks and medical monitoring to prepare the squad.
According to figures released by the department, the team produced 200 full video reports for player performance analysis and monitored 170 matches live.
The staff also carried out 30 live match observations, kept 75 players under regular scouting watch and directly observed 30 players in action.
Detailed technical analysis, fitness assessments and medical monitoring were also completed during the month-long exercise.
“Behind every future success lies invisible work, sacrifice, discipline, and countless hours of commitment,” the department said in a message shared internally with staff.
“We are proud of the professionalism, loyalty, and tireless spirit shown.”
The statement added: “The dream of a National Team is built every single day — through dedication, competence, attention to detail, passion, and responsibility.”
The technical team says preparations will continue as Ghana gets ready for the World Cup.
“The work continues. To the future.”
The Black Stars have qualified for their fifth FIFA World Cup appearance and will play in Group L alongside Panama, England and Croatia.
Ghana will begin their campaign against Panama in Toronto on June 17 before taking on England on June 23 and Croatia on June 27.
