Ghana's 2026 World Cup qualifiers fixtures has been released and include some expected difficult and tricky pairings coming up.
The qualifiers for the next Mundial in Africa will commence in November and is expected to run until October 2025, thus close to almost two years.
The Black Stars in the last World Cup qualifiers were on top and finished as winners of a group that comprised of South Africa, Sudan and Zimbabwe.
Fast-forward, they brushed aside West African neighbours Nigeria in the playoff round to qualify for the 2022 edition which was staged in Qatar- where they suffered a first round elimination.

The best four runners up afterwards, will also have the opportunity to compete in a play-off stage to determine CAF’s representative at the FIFA playoff tournament.
Ghana will begin their campaign at home when they host Madagascar on opening day, before they travel to Comoros for the second round of matches between the period of 13th-21st November, 2023.
Only two matches will be honoured in 2024 as Ghana will battle it out against giants Mali before the travel to Central African Republic in match-day three and four respectively.
From March 17-25, 2025, Ghana will welcome Chad on home soil and then travel to Madagascar to start the return encounters.
The remaining four games will be played in September and October, 2025, to wrap up the series with the winner of the group qualifying automatically to the next FIFA World Cup.
