James Kuuku Dadzie has stated that he did not deserve to be fired as Black Queens coach as both his results and style of play he adopted for the team was superb.

The former skipper of the Black Stars who was an integral figure in the Ghana team that won the 1978 Africa Cup of Nations revealed that he always remained resolute and often stam-out every attempt from the top hierarchy of the GFA to interfere in his work.

"It wasn't like during my tenure as Black Queens coach, the team wasn't performing. The team was performing. But regardless, I was removed as head coach. This was because the people in authority could not easily influence me. I just did not entertain such interference and I was seen as a threat," Dadzie told Happy FM.

The veteran coach was previously the head coach of the Black Princesses from 2009 to 2011. Dadzie was later appointed to take charge of the Black Queens.

However, he was sacked after the senior women's national team failed to snatch a spot in the 2012 African Women's Championship which was held from 28th October, to 11th November in Equatorial Guinea.
