Ex-Ghana international Kwadwo Asamoah has released a teaser of his upcoming football academy project in Accra after announcing his retirement from professional football.
Back in April this year, there was a report of a partnership between the former Juventus star and football agent Oliver Arthur to build a mini-stadium and also open an academy to nurture talented kids from the continent of Africa.
The report suggested Asamoah will use the academy to kickstart his next career as a football agent, having announced his retirement last year.
Two months after the reports, the 34-year-old has provided a gist of the project with young footballers training on a pitch as he watched on.
Asamoah began his career at Kaaseman FC and Asokwa Deportivo before moving on to Ghana Premier League club Liberty Professionals.
He went on to have loan spells at Swiss clubs Bellinzona and Torino before joining Udinese on a permanent basis in the summer of 2008.

Before to Inter Milan, the Ghanaian played for Juventus, where he helped the Bianconeri win multiple trophies, including six league titles.
Asamoah retired as the African footballer with the most top-flight appearances in Italy, as well as Ghana’s most successful player in the country.
