Kick Nation Sports Agency, a Ghanaian-based sports management and talent development hub, has officially launched its operations with a vision to transform the landscape of football talent discovery and promotion in the country.

The agency, spearheaded by Wunnam Haruna, seeks to identify, nurture, and prepare promising talents from the grassroots level to the professional stage. With a focus on both player development and career management, Kick Nation aims to provide young athletes with the right technical, tactical, and psychological foundation to succeed in competitive football.

In a very beautiful event held at the Silicon House Production in the capital, Accra. Ghana’s all-time top scorer Asamoah Gyan was in attendance alongside his Black Stars teammates Emmanuel Agyemang Badu, Fatau Dauda, Baffour Gyan and Joseph Paintsil.

Renowned football agent Oliver Arthur and top journalists like Michael Oti Adjei, Gary Al Smith, Owuraku Ampofo, Courage Dzide and others, all graced the occasion.

Media and sports expert Baba Sadiq and Dr. Ernest Koranteng will serve as Special Advisors to the agency.

Speaking at the launch, Chief Executive Officer Haruna Wunnam emphasized that Kick Nation is not just an agency but a development platform for footballers at all stages of their careers.

“We are committed to creating opportunities for both young and mature players. Through strategic collaborations with local and international clubs, we will build pathways that lead directly from grassroots training to professional football, both in Ghana and abroad.”

As part of its collaborative drive, Kick Nation has already partnered with Steadfast United, a well-regarded club in Ghana’s Division One League, and Ghanaian topflight fold Karela United. These partnerships are expected to provide players with competitive environments and exposure to the highest echelon of football.

Beyond local collaborations, the agency has also secured international connections with clubs in Europe and Africa, paving the way for exchange programs, training camps, and opportunities for Ghanaian talents to be scouted globally. Haruna disclosed that discussions are already ongoing to establish top-tier development structures in Ghana that will align with international standards.

The launch of Kick Nation Sports Agency adds to the growing wave of private sports initiatives in Ghana, which are increasingly complementing the work of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) in talent development. The agency’s long-term goal is to produce world-class players who can compete at the highest levels while also contributing to the growth of local football.

Kick Nation’s arrival marks a new chapter for young footballers in Ghana, offering them structured mentorship, exposure, and the chance to pursue careers that extend beyond the local leagues.
