Great Olympics General Manager, Eric Alagidede, has acknowledged the daunting task his side faces in the Division One League, particularly in the fiercely competitive Zone Three, but insists the Dade Boys are fully prepared for the battle ahead.
Speaking after their narrow defeat to Hearts of Oak in the 2025 Democracy Cup, Alagidede admitted the race for promotion will be far from easy.
“Zone Three has always been difficult and we know the task ahead,” he said. “All the teams in this zone are very good, so it’s always going to be tough.”
Despite the challenges, the Olympics GM was quick to issue a bold reminder of the club’s pedigree.
“We are an old club and whenever you’re coming up against us, you have to be exceptional,” Alagidede declared, signaling their readiness for the fight.
Olympics’ spirited display against Premier League giants Hearts of Oak in the Democracy Cup has further fueled their confidence as they gear up for the new campaign. The club remains determined to reclaim their place in the Ghana Premier League after last season’s relegation setback.
