First Vice Chairman of Asante Kotoko's National Circles Council (NCC), Nana Kwame Dankwah believes there’s plenty of evidence to suggest that the club's decision to sign youngsters from lower division side's will yield results.

Dankwah has stated that it's too early to pass any conclusions on how the lads that have been brought in will fare, making an impact in donning the Porcupine Warriors shirt.

In recent times, there have been questions about the system head coach Prosper Narteh Ogum will deploy in the usage of these young talents.

However, there's also an high debate among the fans on the point that how will Kotoko be consistent in the upcoming league season with the signing of players like; Afigya Liberty's Bernbard Somuah, Dwamena Kyei from WAFA, Tano Bofoakwa's Samuel Somuah and PAC Academy's Peter Amidu Acquah.

“It is the divisional players we use for business. In football the player’s resale value is what matters. Aged players can help you but when you want to transfer them how much can you make. And football is a big business today," Dankwah said.

“So, you just don’t bring in any players but I am confident the boys who have come in have individual brilliance but to play as a team, they are getting it gradually.

“Despite bringing in big players in the past, Kotoko also introduced some young ones," he concluded.
