Former Mohammed Kudus’ agent, Jennifer Mendelewitsch, has spoken on the player’s current struggles, linking his situation to their past split stating he wasn’t fair to her and is now paying the price.
The 25-year-old switched to Tottenham Hotspur prior to the commencement of the ongoing season from West Ham United and 3 goals and 5 assists in 26 matches in all competitions but he got injured early this year and hasn’t played since.
Mendelewitsch, who managed Kudus’ early career moves from Right to Dream to FC Nordsjaelland and later to Ajax, suggested the Ghanaian midfielder is now facing the consequences of decisions made after their professional relationship ended.
The French agent also pointed to the difficulties at Tottenham Hotspur, where the club currently finds itself battling relegation with just a few games remaining in the season.
“Honestly, it’s a shame. He is the one who is being punished the most in this story. I made all these transfers until the last one,” she said.
“They - Tottenham Hotspurs - are flirting with relegation to the Championship; it’s the first time that has happened to him. Well, sorry, but you punished yourself. It’s a shame, but that’s life. It’s pretty crazy,” she added in an interview on En Off.
Kudus has endured a difficult period, having been sidelined with injury since the start of the year. Reports also indicate he could miss the 2026 FIFA World Cup, adding to what has been a challenging campaign for the Ghanaian playmaker.
