Joseph Esso's role as the captain of Dreams FC has been met with mixed feelings in recent times, according to deepthroat sources.
While the former Hearts of Oak forward does not particularly enjoy seeing Dreams FC go through a disappointing start to the season, he remains fully committed to his team, willing to make personal sacrifices for the greater good of the squad.
His dedication has seen him rise as one of the key figures in the locker room, earning the prestigious title of the team’s captain.
"As a captain, you know if things go well, they will look up to you. And me as a senior player, I will be expected to lift the boys up or do something to put the thing in a better position on the league log," Esso told 3Sports.
"I'm personally not happy with the way things are going with Dreams FC," he added.
As one of the main figures in the dressing room, Esso will continue to prove that his dedication and sacrifice will go hand in hand with his rise to a leadership role within the team as the Still Believe aims to rebound when the league resumes on December 13.
