Asante Kotoko has pulled off a major coup by reportedly signing midfielder Emmanuel Antwi to a pre-contract agreement in the ongoing transfer window, according to former club Spokesperson, Obed Acheampong on Porcupine Stand.

The talented player has a month left on his contract with Great Olympics, and will see out his commitment before joining the Porcupines.

According to sources, Kotoko outbid fellow Premier League clubs Hearts of Oak, Samartex, Legon Cities, and Nations FC to secure the signature of the 2023/24 campaign's standout performer.

Despite Great Olympics' demotion to the Division One League, Antwi had an impressive season, making 26 appearances and scoring six goals while providing five assists.

Antwi's impressive form earned him multiple MVP awards, making him a highly sought-after target for several clubs.

However, Kotoko's strong bid has convinced the midfielder to join the Kumasi-based club, where he will look to make a significant impact in the upcoming season.
