Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have launched a strong complaint against South African topflight side Siwelele FC for unlawfully approaching their striker Hamza Issah and insisted the player is still under contract.
The Betway Premiership side sent a letter inviting Hamza for a thirty-30 trial for a possible move after it was announced in the early stages of last week that FIFA have declared the player as free agent.
His representatives reported his current club Hearts of Oak for breaching some terms in the contract agreement that ties the two parties together resulting into that ruling but the ‘Phobians’ have stated they are in talks to right all wrong with the player.
Hearts of Oak have now lodged a strong complaint to the world’s highest football governing body - FIFA expecting a severe punishment for Siwelele FC for unauthorized approach of Hamza Issah and further clarified that he is still under contract in a statement they released this morning on their various socials.
The lethal striker has been the club’s marksman since his promotion from Auroras and has four goals to his belt this season. He lasted only 24 minutes in the Super-Clash over the weekend before being subbed off with injury.
Hearts of Oak with 39 points are in third place at the moment, five behind league leaders Medeama SC - and will look to secure better results in their subsequent matches to enhance their title-winning chances.
