Ex-Board Member of Hearts of Oak, Frank Nelson has admitted that the performance of the club last season was "very bad" after they finished fourteenth in the Ghana Premier League.

The Phobians slumped to their worst ever finish in the Ghanaian top-flight despite beating Bechem United 3-2 on the final day of the campaign - their worst record - grinding 11 wins, 12 draws and losing a total of 11 games.

However, there has been plenty of speculation surrounding the Phobians amid the team's disappointing campaign last season.

According to Nelson, they are aware that results were unacceptable which did not excite him nor the fans of the club.

Speaking to ChannelOne TV., Nelson said: "We found ourselves in 14th position; for me, it was a very bad performance last season so there is no two ways, no arguments about it."
