Nsoatreman FC gaffer, Maxwell Konadu has disclosed Kotoko's problem goes beyond coaching and stated is actually the players who lacks confidence to play and need the support of the fans at the moment to revive themselves.

The Porcupine Warriors got stunned by the 'Efiri Tete Amanaso' outfit by 1-2 last Thursday night in match-week 25 of the Ghana Premier League

Former Hearts of Oak conjurer Abdul Manaf Umar Gumah opened the scoring account for Nsoatreman FC before Shadrach Addo levelled things up before half time.

In the closing moments of the game, Charles Adu Meider did a great work on the right to set up Abdul Rahman Mohammed who struck into the net to snatch all three points for Green-Yellows.

Maxwell Konadu is a former player and coach of the Porcupine Warriors, who have now appallingly lost five and drawn one in their last six matches.

Speaking on the recent problem of the club, the experienced tactician refused to blame only the technical team for the club's recent ill performance and has urged the supporters to continue rallying behind the team since this is the time the players need them the most.

"I don't believe it is a coaching issue, when the players play, it is clear that they are afraid.
The demands placed on the players appear to put them under additional strain, they lack the character required to play as a Kotoko player, which I believe is their issue.

"This is the critical moment for the players to have the support of the media and fans. Much pressure from these stakeholders will not help matters, instead, fans should support the technical team and playing body in order to turn things around. The players are not bad; none of them will be a benchwarmer at any GPL club, but they appear to panic when playing.
