Experience gaffer, James Kuuku Dadzie has openly stated the current state of the Ghana Premier League is very poor due to lack of quality and that, we shouldn't get deceived that is competitive premising it with the points difference on the league log.

The former Ghanaian international last had an active  stint with Ebusua Dwarfs in the 2020/21 season where he chipped on so well to supervise their last five matches but sadly couldn't earn them survival.

On Akoma FM in Kumasi, the ex- Black Queens coach stated the two giants (Hearts and Kotoko) are now put in the same bracket with other teams with no difference and that shouldn't persuade us to think it is due to the competitiveness and toughness nature of the league but rather is because they lack quality players and could only boast of average once just like the other clubs.

"Football is about players, and we mean quality ones. Personally for me, in Ghana all the Premier league teams have average players, there are no clear differences in their qualities that is why we see the league to be tight and competitive with close gaps in the point build up.

"The qualities are the same and spread across,  Kotoko and Hearts are not ahead in terms of squad quality. This account for why they are not dominating again.

"During my playing days, there was quality in our play, we could beat you with ease.
Also, we had gifted players, I am the best center-back Ghana has ever had because I was gifted. Mohammed Polo, Asamoah Gyan, Abedi Pele and the rest were all gifted but we don't see such players in our country in recent times."
