Accra Hearts of Oak have exhibited a huge interest in experience attacker Augustine Okrah and are willing and very hopeful to land his service for the 2024/25 football season.

The 30-year-old started the 2023/24 season with his beloved club Bechem United, having rejoined once again after ending his stay with Simba SC in Tanzania.

Okrah, as usual, had an explosive first round campaign in the Ghanaian topflight and was the second top scorer in the first phase of the season with nine goals and also two assists in addition before seeking a new adventure elsewhere.

His impressive exploits earned him a return to the Tanzanian Premier League where he switched to champions Young Africans SC but hasn't really had much playing time since joining them early this year.

Rumours say, Hearts of Oak head coach Aboubakar Ouattara is a huge fan of Augustine Okrah and has tasked the club to start negotiations with the player's representatives for a possible transfer as he strongly believes his service will be very much needed in the capital.

The Rainbow Club after a very bizarre and appalling ending in the Ghana Premier League last season, are looking to establish a formidable and redoubtable side in order to compete strongly for everything in the upcoming season.
