Medeama SC bank-roller, Moses Armah Parker, has urged everyone to disregard the news going round that they denied live broadcast of their Ghana Premier League match-week 16 clash against Asante Kotoko over the weekend.

The Porcupine Warriors held Medeama SC to a pulsating 1-1 draw at the new TnA Stadium in a very entertaining game with Kwame Opoku finding the net again to open the scoring account to mark his second since rejoining but was subsequently equalized by Kamaradini Mamudu to split the points.

Reports surfaced after the game that, the Mauves and Yellows prevented GFA's official TV right holders of the Premier League - AFA Sports, from broadcasting live the game which was the top liner for the week.

The Ghana FA charged Medeama SC for that based on their checks and this was their release to that effect;

“Medeama SC have been charged with a breach of Section 42(6) of the GFA Premier League Regulations, 2019, following their Ghana Premier League game against Asante Kotoko. It is alleged that the club prevented GFA-accredited media partners from the live broadcast of the said game.”

However, Medeama SC owner Moses Parker has categorically denied those reports and has assured they stopped no one from showing the game live and is strongly relying on the Match Commissioner's report to determine the actual truth of the matter.

“We work with rules and regulations. Truth be told, no TV station showed up during the pre-match to telecast the match live. I have no idea of blocking the broadcast of the match. The match commissioner report will determine the truth,” he stated.

Medeama SC are occupying the seventh spot on the league table with 26 points in 16 games and will travel to Berekum Chelsea in the next round of matches.
