Assistant coach of Legon Cities FC, Saeed Adnan feels they outplayed Hearts of Oak in a game they should have won but ended up losing a d has described their defeat as an unfortunate one.

The Royals suffered their fifth consecutive loss after a very painful 1-0 loss to the Rainbow Club in what was an exciting match-week 16 fixture over the weekend at the University of Ghana Stadium.

The visitors were on top in every aspect until Ramzy Yussif out of no where scored a beauty in the dying embers of half time and that made the difference between the two sides in the end.

Speaking after the game, the enterprising gaffer on behalf of his boss Yaw Acheampong, acknowledged the fact that his players were very discipline and sticked to their game plan but it's rather unfortunate they still couldn't earn the victory after full time.

"It’s unfortunate we’ve lost to Hearts of Oak by a lone goal. If you look at the goal they scored, it’s not a chance they created. From the start of the game, you could see the telepathy among our boys, the possession, and the determination to win. It’s unfortunate we couldn’t make good use of the chances we created," he noted.

“What we have learned is the technical execution in our attacking third. That is what we are lacking and that is what is affecting the team.”

Legon Cities continue to remain at the foot of the league table with just 11 points
