Legon Cities FC captain Suleman Mohammed has made the switch to Ethiopian Premier League side Shire Endaselassie FC, according to reports in the local media.
The 27-year-old centre-back has signed a one-year contract with an option for an additional year, joining the club on a free transfer after his contract with Legon Cities expired.
Mohammed made 28 appearances for Legon Cities in the Ghanaian Premier League last season, helping the team retain their top-flight status. He also played a key role in the FA Cup competition, reaching the semi-finals and earning a few man of the match awards for his impressive performances.
The highly talented defender is expected to strengthen the defense of Shire Endaselassie FC as they aim to maintain their position in the Ethiopian Premier League.
With Mohammed's arrival, he becomes the third Ghanaian player to join the league this transfer window, following in the footsteps of Asante Kotoko duo Ibrahim Danlad and Sherif Mohammed.
