Ghanaian defender Edwin Gyimah has confirmed that his move to South African Premier Soccer League side Magesi FC has been called off.
The former Orlando Pirates guardsman said he was forced to rescind his decision over committing his future with the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium outfit given the terms and conditions in the contract tabled before him for his services.
ln an interview with the South African media, the experienced Ghanaian centre-back said he was eager to join his suitors on a short-term deal but the contractual obligations put him off as it contains no financial details that would inure to his benefit.
''l was very much interested in signing and playing for Magesi FC, but the contract was not forthcoming. ln the end when it did eventually come, it was empty with only the club's rules and things like that without any figures,'' he revealed in an interview.
Gyimah remains unattached since parting ways with Sekhukhune United at the end of last football campaign.
He is having a vast experience in the South African top-flight contest following stints with SuperSport United, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Orlando Pirates, Bidvest Wits, Black Leopards, and Sekhukhune United.
He currently boasts of 10 caps with the Ghana Senior Men's National Team, the Black stars on the international stage.
