The Swede enforcer believes the bulky striker of Ghanaian descent is in a class of his own when he comes up against his opponents on the field of play

Eintracht Frankfurt defensive midfielder Hugo Larsson has hailed Dutch-born Ghanaian forward Brian Brobbey ahead of their reverse fixture of the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 second-leg clash on Thursday.

The 20-year-old was troubled by the Ajax forward during their first-leg tie of the European second-tier inter-club contest on February 7.

However, with this acerbic encounter against the 23-year-old frontman fresh in his head, the Swede budding enforcer had nothing but full of praises for his nemesis as he is set to cross-swords with him for the second-leg tie in Germany tomorrow.

''I have never seen a player with so much physical strength in my life', the ex-Malmo FF man told Voetbalzone. He played excellently against us. He is incomparable to anyone for me, I have never met a player like him before,'' he added.

He continued by touching on his possible threat for his side as they are determined to keep him at bay in the clash: ''He played very well against us. As a centre-back, you really have to work hard against him. After his early goal, we managed to keep Brobbey in check. And we will have to do that again this Thursday.''

Ironically, both of them were on the scoresheet for their respective clubs during the first-leg encounter at the Johan Cruijff ArenA in Amsterdam on last Friday.

Brobbey has been named in the 26-man squad by Ajax manager Francesco Farioli following his injury scare against PEC Zwolle in the Eredivisie over the weekend.

He has so far netted 7 goals and assisted 5 in 37 games across all competitions for Ajax in this current football campaign.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, he remains unfit to play for Ghana on the international stage as he has been cap-tied by The Netherlands national team.
