The 20-year-old wideman of Ghanaian heritage has extended his loan stay with the English fifth-tier campaigners until the end of the current campaign 

English-born Ghanaian winger Michael Adu-Poku has extend his loan deal with National League club Wealdstone FC from Championship side Watford for the remainder of the season, his mother club Watford have announced.

The promising youngster, who spent the first half of the season on loan at League Two club Barrow, is set to finish this season's journey with the lowly division outfit after penning yet another loan deal with them.

A statement confirming his loan extension deal reads via Watford official website: ''Michael Adu-Poku has extended his loan spell with Wealdstone until the end of the season.The forward originally joined the National League side on a 28-day deal in January, before later extending it for another month.He has made nine league appearances for the Stones so far as the Grosvenor Vale outfit sit 11th in the league.''

''Wealdstone are due to host Yeovil Town tomorow (Wednesday March 25) while they are one game away from Wembley after booking an FA Trophy semi-final against Marine.Adu-Poku signed a new three-year contract with the Hornets in October 2024 and has also had loan spells at Solihull Moors, Rochdale and Maidstone United.

''The 20-year-old was on loan with League Two side Barrow earlier this season and has made three appearances for Watford’s first team in previous years, including two in the Sky Bet Championship. All the best, Michael!''

Poku has so far taken in 10 game appearances for Wealdstone FC in this ongoing 2025-26 National League season.

Given his Ghanaian heritage, Adu-Poku still remains fit to play for Ghana on the international stage as he is yet to be cap-tied by the England senior national team.
