Ghanaian forward Mohammed Dauda has completed a move to Spanish lower-tier club UD Ibiza on a season-long loan from CD Tenerife.
The former Asante Kotoko attacker is set to bolster Ibiza’s squad as they aim to make a significant impact in the upcoming season.
Dauda, a former Ghana youth international, brings experience and skill to the Spanish third-tier club, where he is expected to play a crucial role.
The 26-year-old forward has had an extensive career in Europe since leaving Asante Kotoko in 2017 after a standout performance in the Ghana Premier League. He initially joined Belgian giants Anderlecht but struggled to secure a spot in the senior team, leading to multiple loan spells at clubs like Dutch side Vitesse and Denmark’s Esbjerg fB.
In the 2021/2022 season, Dauda made an impressive debut in Spain’s second-tier with FC Cartagena, where he scored nine goals in 35 appearances.
His strong performances caught the attention of CD Tenerife, earning him a permanent move to the club. However, after spending two and a half seasons with Tenerife, Dauda was loaned out to CD Eldense in the latter half of the last season.
