Ghanaian young forward Ibrahim Osman his first appearance for Brighton and Hove Albion in a pre-season friendly win over Kashima Antlers in Japan.
Osman, who arrived at the English club this summer, was handed starting berth alongside his countryman Tariq Lamptey when Brighton and Hove Albion inflicted a 5-1 victory over Kashima Antlers at the National Stadium in Tokyo.
A brace from Amario Cozier-Duberry and other goals from Yakuba Minteh, Yasin Ayari and Jeremy Sarmiento helped Brighton to secure the massive win over the Japanese side.
Kashima found a consolation goal in the 84th minute as 17-year-old Homare Takuda - who looked marginally offside - was played in on goal and squeezed his effort past goalkeeper Jason Steele.
Osman and Lamptey lasted for 45 minutes as the second team comprising of Simon Adingra, Offiah and two-goal hero Amario Cozier-Duberry were paraded for the second half of the game.
The 19-year-old joined Brighton and Hove Albion on a five-year contract from Danish Super Liga side FC Nordsjaelland for a fee of €19.5 million.
Osman has capped twice for the senior national team of Ghana.
Brighton will wrap up their pre-season tour of Japan on Sunday when they face Tokyo Verdy FC.
