English-born of Ghanaian descent Callum Hudson-Odoi was on target in Nottingham Forest's away loss to Newcastle United in the English Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Newcastle United fightback to secure a 4-3 victory over Nuno Espirito Santo's side in the match-week 26 fixture at St. James Park.
Forest took an early lead through Callum Hudson-Odoi before Newcastle took control of the game with four goals in 11 frantic first-half minutes to go in 4-1 up at half-time.
Lewis Miley and Jacob Murphy scored in quick succession to stun Forest, before Isak struck twice in the space of two minutes.
Isak's second - his 19th goal of the season - saw him reach the 50-goal mark in just 76 Premier League appearances, quicker than all-but six players in the competition's history.
Nikola Milenkovic took advantage of a defensive lapse to pull a goal back for Forest, before substitute Ryan Yates set up a nervy finish with a close-range goal following a corner in the 90th minute.
Ultimately it mattered not as victory pushes Newcastle up to fifth in the table, which will likely be enough to qualify for the Champions League, and moves them within three points of Forest in third.
Hudson-Odoi enjoying life at Nottingham Forest
The 24-year-old, who enjoyed the entire duration of the game, extended his goal tally to four when he delivered a long-range strike to beat Nick Pope to give Forest a deserving lead in the 6th minute.
The former Chelsea winger has been a top performer for the Red and White lads since joining them on a permanent deal last season and it is a testament to Forest's incredible campaign, occupying third place on the Premier League table with 47 points.
Hudson-Odoi has so far netted four goals and provided two assists in 23 appearances for Nottingham Forest across all competitions.
He has reportedly been in talks with the Ghana Football Association for a possible nationality switch to play for the four-time African champions at the international stage in future.
