Ghanaian international Ibrahim Osman has shed light on his decision to join Feyenoord on loan during the ongoing transfer window, emphasizing the opportunity for development at the Dutch club.
The 19-year-old winger, who signed with English Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion this summer, opted for a season-long loan to Feyenoord to enhance his game and gain valuable experience, especially with stiff competition for places at Brighton.
"At Feyenoord, young players get the chance to develop," Osman explained. "For my development, it is good to play here and improve aspects of my game. I want to use my qualities to help the team achieve great things in the Eredivisie and in Europe."
Osman is expected to be a key player for Feyenoord in the 2024/25 season. The Dutch giants kicked off their Eredivisie campaign with a 1-1 draw against Willem II, and with their second-place finish last season, they have secured a spot in the Champions League, where Osman will have the chance to showcase his talents on a larger stage.
The promising winger had an impressive season in Denmark last year, scoring ten goals and providing eight assists in 44 appearances. Having already made his debut for the Black Stars, Osman is eager to solidify his place in the national team while contributing to Feyenoord's success this season.
