The Ghanaian lateral stopper has completed his transfer move to the Turkish giants, with his deal set to come to a close in the next two football seasons


Turkish Superlig heavyweights Galatasaray S.K have signed Ghanaian left-back Derrick Kohn on a two-year contract from German Bundesliga 2 side Hannover 96.

The 25-year-old penned the deal with the Rams Park campaigners after passing his mandatory medical assessments earlier today.

Right after capturing the former Bayern Munich II man, the lstanbul-based club have said they have the option to extend their contractual obligations terms with him to a further year upon its expiration.

"An agreement has been reached with professional football player Derrick Arthur Köhn and his club Hannover 96 GmbH&Co KGA regarding the transfer of the player. Accordingly, a transfer fee of 3,350,000 euros and a conditional bonus of 300,000 euros will be paid to the player's former club."

He still remains eligible to switch allegiance and represent Ghana on the international stage despite playing for the Germany U19 national youth team.
