Ghanaian winger Prince Obeng Ampem's fine strike failed to help Eyüpspor to annex victory over Istanbul Başakşehir in Monday night's Turkish Super League Round 29 game.

Eyüpspor, who played as hosts, succumbed to a 3-1 defeat as the away side, basically, took control of the first 45 minutes.

Ivan Brnic gave Başakşehir the lead after 22 minutes, superbly smacking the ball into the top left corner of the post.

But Obeng Ampem put Eyüpspor on level pecking after just four minutes as he calmly slotted the ball into the net with his fine right-footed tap-in, after an intense counter attack by no.7 shirted' Halil Akbunar, who passed a precise pass to the Ghanaian forward to score.

But Cameroon international Olivier Kemen put Istanbul Başakşehir ahead on 74 minutes with a fine bicycle backflip goal right in the box, as Eyüpspor goalkeeper Berke Ozer looked on with no chance in stopping the ball.

Yusuf Sari rounded up the win (85th minute), going past two defenders to enter into the box to hit a superb strike into the left of the box with his left foot.

Obeng Ampem has now scored three goals in twenty-three appearances this season for Eyüpspor in the Turkish Super Lig.
