The draw for 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Africa will be conducted on Thursday, July 13 with Ghana set to know our opponents.
Africa could earn up to eleven slots at the next World Cup, with nine assured already due to expansion of the partaking nations from 32 to 48.
Ghana has been placed in pot two of the draw alongside seven other nations including South Africa, Burkina Faso, Zambia, DR Congo and more.
Pot one comprises of current African champions Senegal, Nigeria, Algeria, Cameroon, Morocco- who became the first African nation to reach the semi final of the World Cup and others.
The four time African champions in the last qualifiers topped Group C over South Africa, Ethiopia and Zimbabwe before edging sworn rivals Nigeria to secure their fourth appearance at the Mundial.
