Black Stars assistant coach, George Boateng says he respects Asamoah Gyan and would like to speak with him on his World Cup Dreams rather than to share his opinion with the public.
Asamoah Gyan has declared his intentions to play at the World Cup in Qatar.
Ghana are in Group H together with Uruguay, South Korea and Portugal.
Ghana will face Brazil and Nicaragua in a friendly later this month.
Salisu Mohammed, Tariq Lamptey, Inaki Williams, Stephan Ambrosius And Ransford-Yeboah have all been handed their debut call-ups.
Ghana's all-time goalscorer, Asamoah Gyan has been without a club since the ending his one year stay with Legon Cities in 202.
The 36-year-old had his last call-up in 2019 for the African Cup of Nations in Egypt.
George Boateng has eulogised Asamoah Gyan and insists that he will prefer to discuss his World Cup ambitions with him privately.
"We've so much respect for Asamoah Gyan as a player and as a person, he's a very good friend of mine and what he has done for Ghana is amazing. Record goalscorer, six goals at the World Cup it's amazing," he said.
"You can only applaud his achievements however, on this topic, I think out of respect for the player and the friend of mine as a person, I will prefer to discuss this issue with him in person rather than sharing with the outside world," he added.
