CAF Champions League winner, Charles Taylor, says Hearts of Oak rejected his move to Brescia after passing trials and securing a move to the Italian club.

Charles Taylor donned the rainbow colours from 2000-2003 after signing from Great Olympics.

Charles Taylor, 40, was a thorn in the flesh of opponents during his peak at Hearts of Oak as he won numerous trophies including the biggest club competition in Africa, CAF champions league.

Reports of then Hearts of Oak management saying that Charles Taylor rejected transfers they secured for him.

Hearts of Oak sits fourth on the league with forty-seven points after thirty matches.

Speaking to Dan Kwaku Yeboah TV, Charles Taylor disclosed that he secured a move to then Italian Serie A side, Brescia, through Stephen Appiah but Hearts of Oak rejected the deal.

"The only foreign contract I had that involved money was a deal Stephen Appiah got for me at Brescia...He took me there and I passed," he disclosed.

"They gave Hearts $400,000 that if I perform, they will transfer me to Juventus...I was with Stephen, we went to a restaurant with Brescia CEO before Stephen called Hearts to discuss the deal."

"So I returned to Ghana to make preparations and go back to Italy to sign my contract. I went to see Tommy Okine(Former Hearts CEO) and he told me they had gotten a new deal in Switzerland and the money is $1 million dollars. So I agreed because the money was obviously more huge than the $400,000 and I wanted Hearts to make money," he explained.
