Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo has described the game against Madagascar as an important fixture and added Ghanaians should relax as they haven't qualified for the World Cup yet
The four-time African champions might have an embarrassing campaign in the last AFCON qualifiers, but have been flying higher in the World Cup qualifiers as they currently have four wins in their opening five games.
Their last victory was an emphatic 5-0 win over Chad last Friday to move to the summit of Group I, courtesy goals from Antoine Semenyo, Inaki Williams, Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Salisu and Ernest Nuamah.
The team is currently in Morocco, Al Hoceima specifically, preparing for their game against Madagascar and are very much aware how important a win in this fixture will mean to them.
Speaking ahead of the game, the enterprising tactician has urged all Ghanaians to lower their expectations for now as they are taking it game after game until they secure their spot.
"Everyone needs to be on their toes. This is like small final and if we win this game, then we are really on course. Madagascar is a good team and it will be a tough game."
"Nobody needs to be thinking about the World Cup yet because we need to take it step by step. It is very very important that we do this until the job is done."
The game is slated for 19:00GMT tonight at the Stade Mimoun Al Arsi.
