Highly-rated gaffer, Maxwell Konadu has also expressed strong interest in taking up the Black Stars vacant coaching role and reports has it that, he's already applied for the job.
The Ghana FA are still on the lookout for a successor for out-gone Chris Hughton who got jettisoned last week after a disastrous AFCON campaign in Cote D'Ivoire.
With this, lots of coaches around the world, both in the country and outside are willing to be hired for the job with some already sending in their CVs, with the latest being ex- Black Stars assistant coach Maxwell Konadu.
Though there hasn't being any confirmation of that from his camp but the ex- Kotoko coach is said to have officially applied before the deadline hoping to be considered.
Maxwell Konadu has so much experience having handled almost all our men national teams as substantive coach including the Black Galaxies, Black Meteors and Black Satellites.
With the senior national team, the experienced gaffer been in and around for a while now and has served as an assistant for over a decade and was appointed as a stop-gasp coach on two occasions but never handled on full time basis.
Locally, he guided giants Asante Kotoko to their 22nd league title in 2012 and has managed clubs like Legon Cities FC and is currently with Nsoatreman FC
With these experience and exposure over the years, Maxwell Konadu strongly believes is his time to be the head coach of the four-time African champions.
