Ugandan forward Steven Mukwala insists that he leaves with heartfelt gratitude from Ugandan Revenue Authority SC as he inches closer to Asante Kotoko.
Mukwala have arrived in Accra, Ghana and is expected to undergo a mandatory medicals before signing a reported two-year deal with Asante Kotoko.
The Porcupine Warriors will be competing in the Champions league and are poised to leave a mark on the continent and in Ghana.
The Ghana Premier league champions have shipped out Mudasiru Salifu, Kwame Baah and others are expected to follow including leading marksman Franck Mbella Etouga.
The 23-year-old is expected to hit the ground at the Baba Yara stadium if he completes his move.
He scored thirteen goals in twenty-two games in the Ugandan league last season.
Mukwala says it's difficult to leave but insists that it's time to move on.
"I take this opportunity to thank the URA Football Club for the Chance it gave me to be part of its project," he wrote on his Facebook page.
"The two years together have been amazing. I met great people at the Club who supported me unconditionally.
“I shared the dressing room with the most talented players in Uganda. But above all, I was able to work with great instructors, Coaches, and profound management.
“Saying goodbye is always the hardest thing for me. But I guess it’s time to move on. I leave with heartfelt Gratitude. It was such a great privilege to wear the yellow and blue Jerseys. Forever you will be in my heart” he ended.
